SARAH LINGENFELTER DIES AT GALLITZIN

Gallitzin, Jan. 22. – Mrs. Sarah Lingenfelter died at 12:55 o’clock this morning at her home here, following a long illness with the diseases incident to old age. She had sustained a stroke of paralysis recently. The deceased was 82 years old, and was the widow of Josiah Lingenfenter[sic], who died 14 years ago last June. Mrs. Lingenfelter is survived by the following children: Mrs. George Ehrenfeld, Mrs. W. M. Ferguson, and Mrs. William Rodda, all of Gallitzin; Charles C. Lingenfelter and Mrs. B. O’Connor, both of Altoona; Mrs. J. M. Bowman, of Wilmerding; W. H. Lingenfelter, of South Fork, and Dr. S. M. Lingenfelter, of Lancaster. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon.
