The body of Frederick Alt, news of whose tragic death in Pittsburg was conveyed to Democrat readers yesterday morning, will be laid to rest this afternoon at 2 o'clock, in Singer's cemetery, Daisytown, following services at the Shrier home, conducted by the Rev. C. R. Stoltz, pastor of the Morrellville Lutheran Church.
Surviving is the widow, who was Miss Antonio [sic] Shrier, and four children - Ludwig, Frederick, June Etta and Anna. The aged mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Ludwig Alt of Walnut Grove, and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Justina, wife of Joseph Doris [sic] of Cover Hill; Annie, wife of William Schmidt of Walnut Grove; Katie, wife of Elmer Marsh of Daisytown, and Charles, John and William of Walnut Grove. |
